PRESS KIT FOR HEALTH AND WELLBEING COMMUNITY
Future Communities is pleased to announce that is has received funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to create a local health and wellbeing community, to improve the health and wellbeing of women aged over 40 with support available both in person and online. The programme will commence from 20th March 2024.
There will be a range of activities and resources including:
- Community-based online workshops/activities/presentations/tools and resources
- Creating a “community wellbeing hub” to support women who are aged 40 plus
- Developing a range of digital resources and tools
- Group sessions and 1-2-1 guidance
- Partnership work with other organisations
- Information/advice and guidance
- Signposting to other agencies
- Support from experienced coaches, trainers and facilitators
- Access to digital resources for participants during and after exiting the programme
